Lawrence
R. Schwach, Esq.
Mr.
Schwach concentrates his practice in civil litigation and
trial practice. He was born in Buffalo, New York on November
12, 1949, and admitted to the California Bar in 1979, to
New York in 1984 and to Florida in 1985. He is also admitted
to United States District Courts for th Central District
of California, Western District of New York and Northern
District of New York. Mr. Schwach received a B.A. from Canisius
College and his J. D. from the State University of New York
at Buffalo.
Mr.
Schwach is a member of the State Bar of California, New
York State Bar Association and the Florida State Bar Association.
He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers, the New
York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Western New York
Trial Lawyers Association. He has tried lawsuites in New
York, Florida and California in both State and Federal Courts.
He is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and multiple
committees. Since 1995, he has received Martindale Hubbell's
highest rating of AV.
Prior
to attending law school, Mr. Schwach was employed as a claims
adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Upon admission
to the California Bar, Mr. Schwach joined Mission Insurance
Company's in-house counsel in Los Angeles, Calfornia wher
he rose the level of trial attorney. In 1983, he joined
the law firm of Block & Colucci, P.C. In 1995, he was
a founding partner in the law firm of Gradl Polowitz &
Schwach, LLP.
Mr.
Schwach has handled numerous litigated matters, including
environmental and toxic torts, on behalf of both plaintiffs
and defendants as well as insurance carriers. He has an
active estate and Surrogate's Court practice, and also represents
corporate defendants in administrative and employment law
related matters.
